Kahali "Callie"
Callie is a 26 year old, paint pony named for her compelling blue eye (Kahali translates to "deep, blue eye of the sea"). She came to us on accident at a time when a little, old, lame pony was not at all what we were looking for. Then we met her. There was something there that could not be put into words, but we knew we had to have her. As her physical health continues to improve, her spirit continues to grow. She is loved for her sweet, kind personality and the way she reciprocates love. You scratch her back, she'll scratch yours (literally). Callie is our "relationship" horse who teaches us about trust and communication Glory
If she were a person, she'd be Marilyn Monroe. In reality, Glory is a 12 year old paint (yep - there's a small mark on her front right) with a flowing golden mane and swingin' hips that let you know she's quite the girly girl. She enjoys a fun romp with her buddy Prince, but rarely is seen rolling. That, after all, might muss her hair! Glory is our "boundaries" horse who teaches us about respect, boundaries and helps to develop leadership skills. Prince If Glory would be Marilyn, this guy would have to be Lyle Lovett! He may not be the most handsome horse in the barn, but he knows his job and he does it well, day in and day out. Prince is a Morgan/Mustang cross who proves that looks don't matter. He is reliable, giving and seems to embody the scripture, "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always preserves." That's our little Prince!
