Announcing our new Development Committee
 
We are blessed to have a group of dedicated, passionate women with a wide variety of backgrounds and knowledge join our team!  This new Development Committee is hard at work fulfilling their 3-fold mission:
 
  • Raise Awareness of the programs we offer and the benefits these programs have on our partcipants

 

  • Increase Support for these programs by raising fund to help those in need of financial assistance and ensure the programs are financially stable to support the hardest workers on the team - the horses!

 

  • Expand Client Base by expanding on existing program and developing new programs which would allow us to serve a wider population of individuals.

How will Therapeutic Riding effect my child and what kind of benefits can I expect?  These are questions I often hear from parents.  That is why I like to recommend the following paper.  It not only documents the positive effects riding can have on children, but does it from the parent's perspective.  Look to page 6 for the question and answer section with parents.
